Website telemetry
Note
Website telemetry is paused until the project’s new collector is ready (#9559). This entry describes the feature as designed.
The site instruments page loads, user interactions, and fetch/XHR calls with
the OpenTelemetry JS SDK. Spans are exported over OTLP to otelwebtelemetry.com
and printed in the browser console.
Telemetry (tracer) code is enabled for Netlify builds: production, deploy previews, and branch deploys; a fork’s own Netlify site does not trace.
